The idea of the weblab came out of conversations in the summer of 2006. The goal was to create a website that would act as a central hub for the school's online presence. That summer, we created the first version of the weblab and began using it in the fall of 2006.
The site was updated in the summer of 2007 and 2008. By the end of the old weblab over 80% of students had signed up and there were more than 25,000 web pages served every month.
